reiki healing

Pronounced Ray-Ki, is a gentle non-invasive yet very powerful energy healing technique originating from Ancient Japan. To explain it in its simplest form, Reiki is energy. It’s important to know that it is not the practitioner’s energy, but the universal energy that surrounds us. It is channeled through the practitioner to the receiver.

Reiki works with the Eastern philosophy that vital energy flows through our bodies. Reiki restores; energy balance, assists the body’s natural healing process, and develops mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. People use Reiki to relax and strengthen their wellbeing; reduce pain, anxiety, and fatigue; help manage symptoms; reduce side effects of medications; and support recovery after injuries or surgery.

The benefits of Reiki are beginning to be recognized by the medical community worldwide. Its growing popularity sees Reiki being used in a variety of different healthcare settings, including many departments of the UK’s NHS.

IN PERSON

In-person treatments are delivered through light touch to various areas of the head and torso whilst the client lies down and is invited to close their eyes and relax for maximum benefit. I travel internationally to work with clients in a variety of different settings. Treatments take place at a location of your choice, however, I recommended the treatment take place in a quiet, relaxing environment.

distant healing

Distant Reiki healing is just as effective as in-person treatments, it works because energy is not limited by distance. Distance is only a physical limitation, so sessions can be done without the client being physically present.

During the treatment, you will experience the same sensations that you would during a treatment with me in person. You may see colours, or experience heat or tingling sensations in different parts of the body.

Reiki does not require you to do anything special in order to receive, it is more than powerful enough to reach you and work unaided. However it is best that you are somewhere that you can be undisturbed, still and silent for the duration of the session.
